   BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER TODAY!

VERY EXCITING NEWS!

Did you know that for as little as $12 a year YOU can make a difference in the life of one of these horses?

It's true!  By partnering with Bright Futures Farm your "group or family or organization"  can sponsor one of our horses while he's waiting for a new home, or sponsor one of our permanent retirees.

We've had many people tell us, "We'd like to help, but we simply can't afford to.".  One day, not long ago, those words came back to me in the form of a program where anyone who loves animals can make a difference.

It's simple and it's very rewarding.  Tell your friends at work, at home, or at an organization you belong to that for as little as $1 per month, each member of your "group" can make a difference in the life of a horse in need.  If there are twenty people in your group, then your group's sponsorship is $20 a month.

What will $20 a month cover?

Three tubes of de-wormer

One trim by our farrier

two and a half bags of grain

six bales of hay

How does that help in the overall picture?

We have an average of 11 horses here at any given time.  Let's break down the cost to care for one horse each month (these figures are an average over an entire year)...

                     De-wormer  6@ $8 each...                     $  48.00

                     Farrier 6@ $20 each...                            $120.00

                     Grain 8#/day @ $.94/#...                      $343.00

                     Hay (avg) .5 bale/day@ $1.50/day      $547.50

Total minimum cost to care for one horse for a year          $1058.50

(excludes vaccines, emergency vet, supplements, rehab)

Your group's contribution as a Community Partner at $20 a month would help us with $240 of that bill.  That's a huge contribution and one we desperately need.
