Thank you for helping a horse in need through our Foster Program.  By sharing your space and time with us, you are helping one more horse find a safe home for the remainder of his/her life. The direct expenses you incur to care for this horse, as well as the cost of your time, at fair market value, may be tax deductible as a charitable contribution on your Federal Income Tax return.  Please consult your tax advisor for details.  Our FEIN is on all receipts we provide to contributors/foster families.

It is very difficult to find good homes for horses, temporarily or permanently.  Therefore, when you agree to help us, by fostering a horse, we ask you to provide us with sixty days notice if your circumstances change and you can no longer continue to care for the horse.  We ask for this sixty day commitment, so that we have time to locate, screen and approve a new foster or permanent home for the horse.
