Being situated in a rural farming community has made us very aware of the lack of respect that exists for companion animals, barn cats in particular. The faces you see on this page are all the product of our rural community's concept of natural selection and survival of the fittest. Other than my two personal cats, Harry and Pumpkin, all of these cats were feral migrants who chose to reside in our barn for shelter at one time or another. Many are elders. Some were born here. We are proud to say every single cat we have helped is spayed or neutered.
If you are a
cat lover, as we are, please consider a donation to assist with the care
of these wonderful creatures until they are placed in their new homes, or
consider adopting a cat or kitten in need.
We are always in need of foster homes. When you foster a cat or kitten you help us save one more from harm. Fostering expenses are tax-deductible. If you have room, please ask us about our foster program. |
