Bright Futures Farm is a sanctuary for retired Thoroughbreds.  We find homes for many horses that have the potential for a new career as a trail horse or family pleasure mount.   Our focus is to save as many horses as we can before  they are faced with neglect or auction.

We are always in need of foster homes.  When you foster a horse you help us save one more from harm.  Fostering expenses are tax-deductible.  If you have room, please ask us about our foster program.

FORMS

H

There are a number of forms you may need to complete the adoption process.   Everyone will need to complete the adoption application, contract, medical release and disclosure.  The disclosure is information regarding each individual horse.  A disclosure will be sent to you once you choose a horse.  Everyone will also need to use the reference form.  If you are not keeping the horse you adopt on "your" property, you will need to complete a Boarding Addendum (even if the property is owned by a good friend or family member).  All forms you access through this page have been revised 01/01/08 or later.  If you have any questions regarding anything at all (definitions, clarification, etc.) prior to adoption, simply ask.  Once we receive signed documents from you, we believe that you have read, understand and are in compliance  with the content of each document.  If the horse you adopt has a medical issue, needs rehab, or nutritional/medical supplements, we will provide you with a Medical Addendum for that particular horse.  If you are married, your spouse will also need to sign the Placement Contract.

If there is no link to the form you need, please contact us...the site is under construction.
