Tiny's injuries upon arrival

It is obvious that her eye received the most damage. However, based upon what we saw overall...the eye, the long cut that you can see (see fifth photo with arrows) across her forehead and the hematomas on her hips (we took better photos of those the next day... they are below... sixth and seventh photos), we didn't know without a vet's examination if she had any internal damage. So, we called our vet out as soon as we found the injuries. Amanda Turner arrived at approximately 1:30 am. She told us to use warm compresses on the eye and just treat the superficial cuts with antibiotics. She couldn't tell us at that time if there was any permanent damage to Tiny's eye, or if there were any internal injuries although she said based upon what she saw, she felt confident there weren't.
The photos below were taken the following morning. Isn't it amazing how quickly basic first aid can make a difference? If "Jim" would have treated her - just provided a basic clean up and taken time to put a warm compress on her eye (with that first aid kit they say they have for emergencies), she'd have felt at least slightly better by the time she arrived back here.

Oh, by the way...below are photos of Tiny just before she left for VA. A beautiful, vibrant, healthy 30 year old girl.
