Bright Futures Farm is a sanctuary for retired Thoroughbreds.  We find homes for many horses that have the potential for a new career as a trail horse or family pleasure mount.   Our goal is to save as many horses as we can before they are faced with neglect or auction. 

We are always in need of foster homes.  When you foster a horse you help us save one more from harm.  Fostering expenses are tax-deductible.  If you have room, please ask us about our foster program.    

Ladies Pins

Horse Pins are hand-made and the tail is REAL Horse Hair!  You may send us "your" horses' hair, or we will use hair from one of our horses. 

Another unique design for Bright Futures Farm, these pins measure approximately 2 1/2" X 3 1/2".  They are made from silver or copper.  Each pin is hand stamped and detailed, so no two are exactly the same.

What a GREAT gift for the horse enthusiast who has everything! 

From time to time we will offer pins on ebay with the hair of a famous horse as the tail...complete with Certificate of Authenticity!  Check our site for announcements.

If you are going to send hair from your horse please use the following guidelines:

                                  ►Clip one strand of hair...approximately the 

                                      diameter of a pencil...at least four inches long.

                                  ► Hair from the underside of the mane is the softest, 

                                       but you can choose it from mane or tail

                                  ► Tie the hair with a thin piece of string or thread to

                                       keep it bundled, then insert it into an envelope

                                       (not a plastic bag), seal it, and place that

                                       envelope inside your mailing envelope

The tail on these pins is REAL Dog Hair from "your" dog's tail, or ours!

Pin Maintenance:  clean often with a jewelers cloth (available at any jewelry store) and rub gently to polish.
