VOLUNTEER

Volunteer at Bright Futures Farm, a trusted, well-respected

501(c)(3) equine rescue and sanctuary in Cochranton, Pennsylvania.

Do you like horses?  Cats?  Being outdoors?  Do you live close to Cochranton, PA and have a few free hours a week?

If so, you should volunteer at Bright Futures Farm! We have over fifteen horses and twenty cats to care for everyday

and all of them need care, love and attention (and currently don’t get enough of it!)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT BRIGHT FUTURES FARM

If you are at least sixteen years of age, we need your help at our rescue and sanctuary.

Our volunteers help us with daily chores like caring for the horses and maintaining

the barn and pastures, but they also have fun, make new friends - and best of all -

become a valuable part of our rescue efforts.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

HORSES AND THE FARM

We need volunteers to help with day-to-day care of our horses (brushing and grooming the horses, refilling water buckets and outdoor troughs, mucking stalls) and barn chores (washing blankets, general cleaning, tack cleaning, mowing pastures, checking fencing, weed-eating).

CATS AND THE CATTERY

We need volunteers to help with day-to-day care of our sanctuary cats and cattery. Care includes brushing cats, food and water maintenance, sweeping and mopping the cattery floor, vacuuming the cat furniture, trimming the grass in the outdoor space, cleaning litter boxes, etc.
